This report shares the results of IFLA’s survey on the trends identified in the
Trend Report 2024 Literature Review. It highlights perspectives on the impacts
of different trends on societies, libraries, and demand for library services, both
globally and by region, level of experience and library type. It also highlights
where the library field sees the strongest connections between trends being –
notably between changing knowledge practices, and technological trends, the
renegotiation of trust, and digital equity.
